Uttarakhand is an Indian Himalayan State known for its rich spiritual and relegious tourism, ecological richness & diversity, and cultural ethos rooted in traditions, but it is also known for growing frequency and intensity of natural disasters, and  for its fragility of ecological and geological systems.
