ASDMA conducted a series of road show in different locations of the city. Key messages on Preparedness and Mitigation measures for earthquake, Landslide and Urban Flood were conveyed to the residents of the city through the show.
Radio being a strong media for generating awareness has been extensively used in the Media Campaign. More than 3200 radio spots on Flood Preparedness,Earthquake Safety and Storm Safety were used in three (3) FM channels and PrasarBharati for radio advertisement.
A no. of 300 Audio Visual Advertisements on earthquake safety was telecasted in various local satellite channels. Tickers on Apartment Society Sensitisation Programme on Earthquake and Fire Safety in Guwahati city was telecasted in three local satellite channels.
